Our Turn Action Plan

“This movement has always been student-led”

The Ryerson Students Union is proud to support the ‘OurTurn’ National Student Action Plan to End Campus Sexual Violence. Today we join over twenty student unions from eight provinces across Canada.

The ‘OurTurn’ National Student Action Plan to End Campus Sexual Violence began as a project by a handful of students from Carleton University, and later developed through the help of the Student’s Society of McGill University (SSMU), as a direct response hold universities, colleges, and governments across Canada accountable for the continued failure to protect and support Survivors of Sexual Violence.

The attached document is the ‘OurTurn’ National Student Action Plan to End Campus Sexual Violence. The OurTurn National Action Plan was envisioned to be a first step; it was an Action Plan to create social and institutional change through evidence-based programs and effective action.

View Plan

The Action Plan is comprised of the following guiding principles:
  • A Survivor Centered Approach
